I decided I wanted something warm to eat, so I took a trip down the street for some Chinese take-out. On the way back I come to the intersection leading to my house just as the power company truck approaches from the opposite side. They pull into the middle of my street at an angle and just stay there, leaving only about 3 ft of cleared tarmac on either side of their truck. I wait for a few moments and they don't budge.
The passenger gets out, crosses the street, looks at something then jogs back to the truck. They turn on the cab lights and pretend to look busy, and show no intention of moving. I lock gazes with the driver and do my best to project images of hatred into his head. "Fuck this. Time to put the snow tires to the test." I snake around them and plow through the packed snow in dramatic fashion.

"... and then the two guys from the power company helped push the car out."

A) I'm sorry for the melodrama of your utility's futility.
B) Those drawings are awesome. If you made a weekly road rage comic it'd be a beautiful chronicle of human struggle.

I would not have accepted their help at that point. I might have stolen their truck though, and used the bucket to drop boulders on it(and them).

Not weekly, but I'll do these whenever the moment arises. http://oppositelock.jalopnik.com/tag/anger-risi…
